    Default 2012 Arizona Cardinals

3-0 to start the season with wins over teams they were underdogs against:

    Seattle
    New England
    Philadelphia

Defense has looked dominant. 1st in the NFL in Point Allowed per game. Daryll Washington and Calais Campbell locked up with long extensions this offseason. Both playing like Pro Bowlers. Peterson has been a shut down corner. Kolb isn't making mistakes.

    Thoughts?

I bet Manning is kicking himself for signing with Denver. Their O-line has been getting him murdered.

4-0! One of the craziest games I've seen yesterday! And there's nothing here but chirping crickets.

Oh I've been watching, no doubt. They've looked fantastic on defense. They've just gotten by on offense...if they are going to seriously make noise this year they're gonna need to develop some kind of consistency on offense though. Kolb or Skelton, it just seems like they are completely bipolar from one series to the next. It would nice to see a rhythm to the offense. I LOVE Ryan Williams though. Dudes gonna be a stud if he can stay healthy. He's got all the heart and smarts that beanie stoudemire lacks.

Lol. Well, that sucked. If we don't figure out how to protect our qb real quick, we're screwed. Russ Grimm is ridiculously overrated.

I was tweeting that all night. I don't think there has been a single statistical improvement with the Hog Grimm at the helm coaching the O-line. People blame us not drafting high for O lineman but it's Grimm's job to let management and the team know leading into the Draft what to adjust. It seems he doesn't teach any of our guys improved mechanics. Kolb, Skelton, Joe Montana in his prime. Everyone of them would and will get killed by this pathetic protection. Our running game is equally bad. Just terrible, terrible O-line play that seems to get worse each game.

Yeah and it's 1 thing if it is consistently 1 guy that is screwing up, but when the entire line struggles at different times that just shows that they have poor preparation in coaching

And another one bites the dust...

Go William Powell! Beast mode like the pre season! Though if the O-Line keeps producing like it has been, that 2.3 yards per carry (worst in the NFL) that our team averages should continue to plummet and our QB's should all be paralysed by our off week.

Ok. What the hell is going on. Fuck Skelton. Give me a QB that doesn't look like a member of the O'Doyle family. This is ridiculous.

Skelton almost got all of his receivers killed in that game with the countless high throws.

At some point, it is time to hold the coaches and GM accountable. Every team deals with injuries and deficiencies, good teams overcome them. Our offense has been absolutely pathetic since Warner retired and hit an all-time low last night. It's time for Grimm to go and for Graves as well. Absolutely inexcusable to not be drafting O-linemen in the first few rounds of the draft. I wouldn't mind getting rid of Whiz and promoting Horton as well. Whatever is done, it's not ok to go year after year with a pathetic offense. We're wasting Fitz.

By the way, I stay out of the politics folder now but noticed that Swing is still as pathetic as ever; hope life turns around for you AIG.

Thanks Sauce for the condolences. I agree completely with what you said. Why aren't all of the major local papers running stories about the epic failure of the organization, front office, coaches on not doing anything to rectify the offensive line over the past 2-3 years? Over 50+ sacks allowed each of the last 2 seasons (an NFL record) and we already have almost 50 at the midpoint this year. It's an epic and utter failure on so many levels.

The Cardinals have been talking about fixing their offensive line since they moved here, what, 24 years ago?

Times for some heads to roll, I'm tired of this shit.

Not looking good, but they're past the worst spot already. O-line has improved somewhat, and the running game was not bad at all for two out of the last three games. They've been unlucky lately. Should have won the Bills game but hit the goal post with the winning FG, and outplayed the Vikings in every stat but the one that matters. Schedule doesn't help. Hard to turn things around when you have Niners, Packers, and Atlanta in three successive games.
