Default Game Day: Suns @ Hawks

When: Mon. Feb. 6, 2012, 5:30 PM AZ (4:30 PM PST)
    Where: Philips Arena, Atlanta, GA
    TV: FSAZ, NBALP

Horford and Collins out. Hawks are weak in the middle where we are strong. I don't know if Dudley's out. Hawks have lost a couple in a row and will be looking to get back on track.

    Go Suns!

Hawks X-factor off the bench is McGrady.

Let's hope Childress has a great homecoming and plays like an All-Star ...

I'm kind of looking forward to this game. I haven't gotten a chance to watch the Hawks all year, and I'm really curious about how it's working. I want to see how Josh Smith looks. I want to see the somewhat rejuvenated Tracy McGrady and whether he'll get 30 points on us again. I always write off the Hawks in terms of being real contenders (and I'll do the same this year) but they always find ways to get a lot of wins.

Teague has become the point guard the Hawks have needed for years, and Marvin Williams is showing some life.

I love seeing Redd instead of Brown out there. Haha.

    Childress over Warrick.

Still undecided on Teflair over Price. Wish they both just Dragic.

If they hang on, this will truly be a shocking victory.

One thing about Telfair is that brings energy, hustle, and legitimate effort on the defensive end. His decision-making can be pretty bad at times, however.

We almost always win when Frye shoots well. Ugh, really wish we'd stop winning games though.

Go-to scorer Channing Frye with the LaMarcus Aldridge stat line tonight.

Suns wins are like masturbation. Feels good while it's happening, leaves you feeling vaguely guilty after its over, and doesn't really accomplish anything in the long run.

We looked really good tonight. Blah.

The time to trade Lopez is now.

Nash is just a specimen. Un-freaking-believable.

Nice line for Morris tonight in his 20 minutes. 7 pts, 7 rebs, 1st and 3 blks.

I'd like to see Childress get some more of Hill's minutes. No need for Hill to play the whole 1st and first 10 minutes of the 3rd quarter. That's Terry Porter-like.

    Suns game report

It is the one time that you all get to hear from me. It is my annual report from the place of the most disoyal fans in the word. Had to make it out to the game tonight. Fresh off a Giants *victory on my birthday and *I was hungry for another treat. Wore an orange and *black suit to work today so the students could see*in uniform. * Took my good luck charm wife with me to the event. She is really eye candy for all of these slack jawed losers in this arena. Get to the game and take pictures on the iPhone of the shoot around. We always get the funny looks from Hawks fans cause we are decked out and have good seats. As soon as tip off stats I begin jaw jacking. While I talk trash it is directed toward their team not the fans. Our plan is to leave the arena without loosing teeth. Steve looks like a surgeon on the court. His operation is a masterful sight to behold. I am sure that you all were screaming for Frye to stop jacking up those shots. *Especially with Josh Smith eating his lunch early in the game. After a while I gave up that he would stop. Gortat was getting killed out there by Pachulia. Zaza had more of a pushing hacking tactic that was bothering Marcin. The substitution patterns were odd by Gentry. One minute the bench could do no wrong then "Felt Air" Telfair starts *channeling his cousin's ghost. Don't get me wrong he had some good plays, *but for a second he thought that he was all world. We were seriously missing the defensive minded Price tonight. Almost all of the point guards from Atlanta had a chance to test our boys. Felt really bad for Shannon Brown tonight. His wife and kids were chilling next to Chris Tucker and could not get to see him play. Monica did not even get a shoutout on the celebrity-tron which made it double worse. Fans at The Highlight factory get quiet when their team loses. Fans were exiting the arena at the 3rd quarter. I never get it why fans that leave the seats that they paid for with hard earned money. By the 4th I was yelling for the Suns to pour it on, take out Self-Air, put in Price, Warrick, Brown, and call it a day. Nash and the rest of the starters needed a break. Then everyone knows that Captain Canada had come back in to save the day. The dunk that the Ivan Johnson kid had on Morris looked worse up close. Wanted to pull the camera out again, *but I did not want my friend Markieef on that poster. It was serious rookie on rookie crime. Also Pargo was looking like the truth down the stretch. Keeps me wondering why we did not try to sign him. He made Joe Johnson looks worthless. *Started to feel as Orlando was talking about earlier. The wife and I were frantic that we gave up such a huge lead. Then the crowd got quiet a final time as the Hawks fell apart like a cake in the rain. We preserved the victory and dignity for another day. The train gets especially quiet on the way home after their fans lose. Mysteriously their gear fades away and do not make eye contact with anyone wearing orange tonight we had a small representation of fans in the building. What can you expect with our record. Feels good to beat a team with a winning record in their gum. I call Mrs. Phoeknicks my good luck charm. For the past umpteen amount of years the Suns have won in Philips Arena. Can't wait until next year for another win.

Both Teague and T-Mac were non-factors. Save for Willie Green and Ivan Johnson late, Hawks played with little purpose.

It was awesome being there Bone. I was so sleepy after making the last post. Watched the replay and it was Frye that got posterized. Twice in fact. Atlanta fan get so hyped with the bling of plays. Atlanta should have killed us with their lineup and bench. Seems as if they were auditioning trade bait.
